Tanduay Dark Rum is from one of the largest distillers in the world. Made in the Philippines this rum is widely distributed in Asia but distribution is sketchy in many other parts of the world.

Today Midway Trading Corporation imports Tanduay Dark to the US.

Despite the lack of an age statement on the label, Tanduay Dark Rum has the aroma, flavor and body of a rum that is aged about five years. The color is dominated by bright copper tones over a darker mahogany base. The aroma lacks the strong, light alcohol notes typically found in younger rums but instead is dominated by fresh fruit notes that lead to sweet fruit in the initial taste. The body is fairly complex with darker fruit and smoky oak in the finish that lingers supporting the age.
