Brown rum distilled from fermented sugar cane syrup. Blend of rums aged from 6 to 23 years in used whisky and bourbon barrels.

Certainly among the top classic rums available today. The aroma of brown sugar, pineapple and banana lead to a rich medium body full of dried fruit yielding to a sweet light smoky oak and molasses finish. Though this is the flagship of the Zacapa line of classic rums, don't overlook the other rums from the Central American distiller.
