Black rum distilled from fermented molasses. Aged in large vats and barrels.

Rum that was part of the last consignment of rum to be served to the sailors of the deck in the Royal Navy from 1689 until July 31, 1970. This heavy style, colored rum was served during the last century. Blended on the London docks and packaged in ceramic flagons for shipment to the ships at sea, Black Tot is historically significant and was the beginning of the tradition of rum and the sea.
